Being Patriotic via Instagram

I think it’s possible to be anti-Trump (and the incoming administration) without being anti-American. With homesickness starting to kick in and simultaneously having to hear so much anti-American sentiment lately abroad (including from myself), I think a reminder of how amazingly beautiful, colorful and diverse my country is would be perfect right about now. What You Didn’t See On Instagram

Of course on my social media accounts, you’ll only find beautiful photos of the seemingly fun times and beautiful landscapes while I’m traveling. However, I have to admit there’s always a lot more going on behind the scenes. Things that I don’t necessarily know how to convey to people who repeatedly tell me how envious they are of my travels.
