It’s Seegs Quarterly time! Here are some highlights from the last few months: Holiday in the Philippines I visited the Philippines for the first time. One of my very good friends in Hong Kong is from Cebu and recommended the tropical and somewhat deserted Bantayan Island for a beach getaway that we all DESPERATELY needed. My Lasting Impressions and a Goodbye to Taiwan

I left Taiwan in a hurry because of a family emergency, and therefore I didn’t get to do all the things I’d been planning like visit my favorite noodle shop one last time and say goodbye to friends. Getting Tropical Without Leaving the Continental US: Captiva Island

Located on Florida’s Gulf Coast, just west of Fort Myers, are two pristine sister islands: Sanibel Island and Captiva Island. Two of my best friends recently got married, destination wedding style, in Captiva Island. Before the wedding activities, I’d never spent time on the West Coast of Florida before.
