Seegs Quarterly Oct – Dec 2016

The fourth and final Seegs Quarterly of 2016 is a little late this time, but here’s what I was up to recently: Hong Kong I found my footing in Hong Kong during these months. I successfully got a semester of graduate school under my belt, with two more to go! One of the best parts of pursuing this path in Hong Kong was meeting so many like-minded people. I’ve had more interesting conversations in the few short months I’ve been in Hong Kong than I’ve probably had in the past 5 years. Hong Kong has one of the best expat communities…

Being Patriotic via Instagram

I think it’s possible to be anti-Trump (and the incoming administration) without being anti-American. With homesickness starting to kick in and simultaneously having to hear so much anti-American sentiment lately abroad (including from myself), I think a reminder of how amazingly beautiful, colorful and diverse my country is would be perfect right about now. What better way to do so than through a homegrown American invention: Instagram! This is my attempt at being patriotic.                                                    …

Seegs Quarterly July – Sep 2016

My move to Hong Kong is complete – woohoo!! This summer felt endless with anticipation, but I’m happy to finally be here (loving it!) and underway with things. Some other things went down this summer, too, including some drama (of course). Let’s break down what I’ve been up to the past three months: More NJ – and more wedding season! I’m really glad I didn’t have to miss out on two of my best friend’s weddings. I basically planned my entire summer around attending, but I was happy to since they’ve both always been there for me and it was worth…

Simple Summer Update

Things have been pretty quiet around here lately. I thought spending some time at home before heading off to Hong Kong would be relaxing, and I’d have plenty of time to pump out lots of posts that I’ve been meaning to write about Taipei, but the truth is it’s been anything but. I’ve been traveling back and forth between New Jersey and New York on a weekly basis, which means I’ve still been living out of a suitcase. I’m not complaining by any means, but the feeling of only staying put for a few days here and there, especially when…

Seegs Quarterly Jan-Mar 2016

Welcome to the First Seegs Travels Quarterly! Besides just having very travel specific posts, I think it would go further if I shared more about my journey as a whole. The internal journey is just as important as the external one. While I don’t have enough interesting things happen to me to post monthly updates, I’ll do a general update post about every 3 months, which will of course turn out to be 4 times a year. Hence the name. My business background also makes me partial to quarterly findings :) So here’s what happened from January to March 2016: I finally…
